If you’re lucky enough to have a really good training partner you will be amazed how this can help you improve your lift. It is important that you and your training partner have a good connection while you train.
Your awareness of each others goals is crucial and provides a guideline for helping each other succeed.
It’s good to understand your partners’ capability because it let’s you know how to give an effective spot and not help too much. Your partner will also be invaluable when and if you do negatives because this exercise can be dangerous and impossible to do alone.
Your training partner can be a source of inspiration and although you should be self motivated to accomplish your goals a good partner can help to keep you focussed.
